My Story
My name is Woin; I’m a cook, mum and a cookery teacher who’s always been passionate creating delicious, colourful new plant-based dishes to suit everyone’s palate.
Breaking bread brings people together and creates a sense of togetherness. It has always been my way of supporting families and healthy living.
As every Londoner testifies it is a world city blessed with diverse cultures and vibrant cuisines. When I moved to the UK, I found it difficult to find vegan dishes which eventually inspired me to start my cooking professionally.
Before setting up Ethiopic Kitchen, I travelled throughout Ethiopia to further learn and immerse myself in regional cooking practices.
Everything I prepare is fresh using traditional recipes for inspiration. The result is food with a bright, highly aromatic flavour profile that’s designed for sharing.
Today, Ethiopic Kitchen proudly provides a vegan catering service, cooking classes and supper clubs across London.

Ethiopic Kitchen is a small catering provider with a big heart and prides itself in making plant-based dishes from scratch with a variety of natural ingredients.
The unique recipes passed down through the family and developed to fit the modern age and health aware menu primarily based on a traditional Ethiopian and Ethiopian-inspired fusion.
