TESTIMONIALS

Most Ethiopian food is still cooked with a wide array of fresh vegetables and homemade spice blends. As a result, the food is bright and multi-coloured. A cuisine that focuses on communal eating, multiple dishes are served on Injera, a fermented flatbread with a famous soft texture.

Most Ethiopians eat meat and vegetarian dishes together. Nowadays, a substantial number of people are more aware of the health and ethical benefits in addition to the religious customs of an extended lent which makes vegan food ever popular these days.

Guresha

Traditionally in Ethiopia, people feed each other ‘Guresha’ where not only one will just eat from the same plate but eating from someone else’s hand.
The way to do this is to tear off some Injera with hand, then take a pinch of every single dish that is on the plate, and gently offer family and friends that you share the dish with.

Testimonials

Thank you for working so hard to make the most delicious lunch, the food was fantastic and received many positive comments.

I knew before trying the food that it would be wonderful because you spoke about it with such passion and care. Every mouthful delivered that promise.

Woin dedicates herself to her food and it is a really immersive experience. We had hugely tasty stews, fresh salads and delicious cake.

Wow, this was such a great class! We prepared some of the most flavourful dishes I’ve ever tasted. Vegan food doesn’t need to be dull. Thank you very much, Woin!
